Thirst Quinching

Who doesn't love a big ol' glass of ice cold lemonade in the Summer time?

When we were paying for the blueberries we had picked, we also got a glass of blueberry lemonade.
Delicious!
So I couldn't wait to get home and make some.

After a little searching, I decide to go with Bobby Flay's recipe.

Nothing against Bobby, but....

It was way too tart for my sweet-toothed family.
After adding more water and a lot more sugar, the hoards pronounced it acceptable.

Turns out, not only was it acceptable, but it was the perfect mid-bike ride thirst quencher.

Blueberry Lemonade in the park at dusk.
Aaahhhhh.

Oh, I can almost smell and taste it through my computer screen. Never would have thought of blueberries in lemonade. Thanks for the experience.

Pink lemonade on ice in a pretty glass is my favorite. I'm not sure if it is the lemonade or the pretty pink color I love more, though!
