Finding Inspiration

I seem to be going down a path of neutrals and natural lately.

This image is from the summer issue of Flea Market Style. I can gaze and gaze at this page and I don't seem to get sick of it at all.

Loving the colors (or lack there of) on the cover of the latest Artful Blogging. And the articles on the inside don't disappoint either. But that's no surprise.

The four current projects I'm working on are, at this point anyway, in neutrals and the one I'm about to start, though still in my head, is headed down the same path.

As for natural, well, I'm there too. Must be all the time I've been spending outside... between rain storms, that is.

I purchased both of these sets of tags from Brandywine Boutique. They are stunning!

And these I purchased from Star's Fault.

And speaking of, I have become infatuated with her blog! It's one of those places where I just feel at home when visiting.

Like Eileen, I want to create a Garden Journal and all of these tags and cards will find their way into it , I'm sure.

And I would like to send out a Thank You to Tina, for two reasons. First, I found Star's Fault through her blog, and second (the main reason) is because she was kind enough to award me with Neno's Award.

THE AIM OF NENO'S AWARD IS:

1) a dedication for those who love blogging and love to encourage friendships through blogging.

2) to seek the reason's why we all love blogging.

I would like to pass this along to each of you who are reading this. Y'all are the best!

Hope the rest of your week is a beautiful one!

I'm a bluebird fan and those tags from Brandywine as so colorful with the yellows and pink ribbon. When it comes to home decor...give me gray or neutrals any day!

Thank you for the sweet comment on my blog! I think I will spend some time over here, too, your work is gorgeous. I also have those tags from Brandy and would love to live in Eileen's blog- great minds think alike!
I'm still working on a way to dye a neutral set of ribbons (maybe a little aging or silver?)

I have always loved neutrals and try to incorporate the color scheme wherever I can. When my kids all leave I am going to have creams and whites all over the house. Oh wait what about my future grandchildren? Darn it! I love the issue of Artful Blogging too! The cover is awesome:)

Hey girl, I am loving those tags and congrats on the bloggy award :) I too am loving the creams and neutral palettes. I recently diplayed fake brown/cream and white chicken eggs in a wicker basket because I love the neutral colors. Have a great weekend!!!

I love all you new stuff! I too found Eileen back a couple of months or so ago. I can't even remember where now & she is amazing! She sent me one of her little journals with a few of the glitter clothes pins. Don't you just love them? I am like you... liking all the nuetrals & tone on tones. But, then I get all crazy & crave color. I guess I can blame it on being a Gemini! You know... one twin goes one direction & the other goes another. Have a great week & enjoy your goodies. Pop over & see me I am having a Give Away.

A girl after my own heart! I love neutrals and naturals. I can have a hard time creating anything really colorful. Maybe I should try to move out of my comfort zone:) I love Brandywine too! She is awesome! I really enjoyed looking at your Marie piece. It is incredible! Love, Jamie

Love all your newly purchased goodies, especially the tags from Brandywine Boutique. They are so beautiful!! I will have to check out that mag, "Artful Blogging". Never heard of it over here in Europe. Seems like all the great stuff comes over from the states. :-) Thanks for the award to one and all!! Debby
