This week has flown by... busy, busy, busy. Here's a recap.
Fluffing my nest.
Spent Monday cleaning and Tuesday fluffing.
I can't believe it took me this long, but I just put away Easter decorations. That's almost embarassing... almost, but it takes a bit more than that for me.
Then on Wednesday, I moved on to the outside. A bit more fluffing around the deck.
And then into the garden.
I worked in the rose bed. Moved some plants in from other beds and added a few new ones to fill it in.
Had some fantabulous help with that too. Can you read the sarcasm in that?
Pigby and The Beast, both were going nuts rooting for grubs... more so than usual. Seriously, you would have thought they were meerkats, not dogs, if you had seen them... odd looking meerkats mind you, but meerkats none the less.
Thursday I met and had lunch with a few of the ladies who are going to Paper Cowgirl next month. A very nice afternoon. I brought my camera along, but then forgot to pull it out to get a photo.
And speaking of Paper Cowgirl, I got this great soldered charm in the mail this week.
Made by Tina Wright. The images next to it, I'm going to use in a swap. Probably better get a move on with that one, real soon.
And that brings us to creating. In between the cleaning, fluffing, gardening and eating, I've gotten some creative time in too.
Tea dyed some lace...
and some cupcake liners.
Do you remember how your mama used to tell you that just because the other girls were doing it, didn't mean you had to jump off that cliff too? Around here you not only get that lecture, but if you go through with it anyway (and it was something you knew was just down right stupid to do) you get to proudly (or not so proudly) wear the title of "Lemming". Well, I'm proudly sporting that "Lemming" title. I have happily jumped right off that cliff and started the prep work, and hopefully will get some time, to make one of Pam's garlands.
A banner in the making.
A paint chip collage for a friend.
A little something for another friend.
(Details on these two items will have to happen at another time... stay tuned.)
Gathered supplies for another swap project.
And some quote tags in the making too.
See, what did I tell you? B.U.S.Y. But, productive. That always feels good. Now I'm going to go enjoy my morning coffee and listen to the birds.
Have a beautiful weekend.

It sounds really very nice, albeit busy. :) Our Dexter used to help in my Colorado garden. It involved burying things in my container gardens. :P

You have been busy! Lovely stuff.
Alisa, everything's so pretty! I think, like you, most of us have been spending time in the garden too.
I've been painting (work) all week, and just picking up needlework or a book in the evening. I miss crafting and your pictures are luring me into picking it up again - but...have to wait until time permits! In the meantime, I'll enjoy yours! ;-)
