Happy Thursday!

First of all, I want to give out a big ol' THANK YOU to everyone who has entered my giveaway! Everyone has left such nice comments... they are very much appreciated. Makes me want to give a little something to everyone. :)

In shoppe news, I have listed a new kit at Alisa Jane's Pocket. This one is called "English Rose Garden". If you ask me, the colors are divine. Pinks, peaches, yellows and shades of blue.

I can almost smell the roses and hear the clink of china teacups as I type this.

Also, there will be a new collection listed at Alisa Jane soon. This one will be sea inspired. I can't seem to stay away from that right now. Must be the anticipation of going to paradise to see my parents soon.

And last of all, I need some advice. My back hurts again in the same place... my lower back. When I create, I both stand and sit. I can't figure out if it is that or sitting at the computer or both. Sometimes I sit in a computer chair and sometimes in a comfy chair or the couch with my laptop. Farmboy informed me last night that the problem was my legs... they are too short. ha ha, very funny. Don't tell him I might agree. I do have to sit at the front of chairs in both instances so I can reach what I'm doing. Sometimes petite isn't all that it's cut out to be. So my question is, how do ya'll work... sitting, standing, a special way? Should I change how I'm doing something?

Maybe I should take up yoga. Hmmmm....

Have a beautiful day!

Oh, don't forget to sign up for the giveaway, here.

*Edited- It's now 4:30pm here. Why didn't anybody tell me today isn't Wednesday like my title said? I just realized today is Thursday! I wonder what else I've missed out on today.*

Alisa, The three ladies in the photo look like the dearest of friends. I love the clothing from that era! It's so nice to see skirts and dresses in style once again.
I am glad I found your blog. I know I'll visit often. :-)
Hugs! Diane Knott

Lovely kit you've added and the seaside one will be beautiful!!!

Backs...butts...legs...I've got it all. Some of it is poor posture...how do you stand most of the time? Do you exercise this area regularly with squats or do you walk? Do you stretch? Sometimes it's the stretching I need most.

Whatever -- back pain, lower is not pleasant at all. If you can alleviate it on your own with exercise and stretching a visit to the doctor might be in order to check that it isn't something else causing the problem. ♥

I deal with a bad back every day. I do stretching exercises (vital for me!) twice per day. But I want to tell you sitting at the front of chairs is not good, dear. In fact, I've heard that 80% of a back problem is seating! You need to lie on the floor periodically and stretch your muscles, relax, squeeze stomach muscles like you're trying to go "into" the floor. Get up and walk frequently. Important to get your stomach muscles into shape to help your back. Get a good smooth ice pack and use it at night up and down your back to relax the muscles. Hope this helps! I'm kind of the go-to person for back aid!
