Right now...
I'm sitting outside, on the 6th day of January,
feeling the warm sunshine on my bare arms,
listening to She & Him radio,
eating a sweet, juicy Cutie,
watching a little, white pig-dog stare at the orange in my hand
{trying her hardest to use her Jedi mind tricks to move the orange from my hand and into her mouth}
all while knowing I should have not spent the morning making up imaginary tasks to occupy my time with
{ignoring the long list of real tasks written in the notebook sitting on the table inside the house}
just to avoid going to the gym
and writing a blog post that has to do with nothing instead of writing the one I had intended
{which had to do with something + adding a photo that has to do with neither}.
Happy Friday!

So beautiful, sounds like a good day...maybe not the day you intended, but good anyways.
Beautiful photo, nonetheless. Sometimes you just have to grab the moments.
Beautiful picture! I'm enjoying these warm winter days here in north Texas - it's so wonderful not to have to wear a coat when I go out.
Enjoy your weekend!
Beautiful! I've really been enjoying the warm weather, too.
By the way, I really like your new header! New header for a new year! :)
And yet, those are the perfect most wonderful days! WOW, what a sunset!
I know the feeling! I do the same thing all the time1
I know the feeling! I do the same thing all the time!
and you know what there's nothing wrong with any of this!! enjoy the moment Mx
Alisa, if you need more excuses to stay away from the gym, I can come up with a few! LOL! And my gym is in our own basement gathering dust.
The photo's beautiful.
What's a "pig dog"? LOL! I can guess. We have a "pig cat". Miss Tubby!
Enjoy your day!
Hugs, Diane
this one made me laugh. yeah, laugh. not that it was intentionally funny, but because it was just so YOU. your mind on a plate (eh, I mean blog post). :)
PS Can't tell you how happy seeing your new header made me. You're a good friend. Love it.
Oh, that sky!!! Absolutely gorgeous. And so good to know that others do the same mind tricks I do to get out of exercise!
That is a gorgeous picture, and a wonderful way to spend some time! And thank you for your kindness on my last post...
I read once that the time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time ;)
