...I'm going to miss you.
Now the bright morning-star, Day’s harbinger,
Comes dancing from the East, and leads with her
The flowery May, who from her green lap throws
The yellow cowslip and the pale primrose.
Hail, bounteous May, that dost inspire
Mirth, and youth, and warm desire!
Woods and groves are of thy dressing;
Hill and dale doth boast thy blessing.
Thus we salute thee with our early song,
And welcome thee, and wish thee long.
-John Milton, Song on a May Morning, 1660

It's been so nice. I'm not ready for the real heat.
Such a beautiful ode for spring and the coming summer!
I don't feel as eloquent as Milton did about the ending of Spring. I am down right petulant about it and so dreading the Texas heat:) Love your sweet doggy! Love, Jamie
Looks like you & puppy are enjoying that kick back! And your toe nails are polished... I'm jealous. I so need a pedi & hair cut & eyebrow wax. WHERE DOES TIME GO?

Aw, sweet puppy smile:)
I'm a May girl too. My favorite month of the whole year... might have something to do with the fact that the peonies arrive! Your blog looks lovely... I've missed my visits.
