Happy Autumn

I know... I'm a day late, but better late than never. And I'm late because Autumn has been front and center for me for the last month. No, not physically... not here in Texas (although it has cooled off quite a bit). You know how I've been so busy? Well, I have my first Craft Show coming up next month. A Fall Craft Show. Here is a small glimpse of what I've been working on.

In addition to these, I've been making note cards, gift tags, some Halloween goodies and a few other Autumn things.

Like I said, this is my first Craft Show, so if anyone has any advice, well, PLEASE feel free to share. I'll take any advice I can get!

Have a beautiful first week of Autumn!

Oh, the journals are pretty, Alisa! I'm excited for you! I have not been brave enough yet for a craft show. I don't know if this qualifies as advice, but a cute display idea that I've seen is old suitcases propped open with the merchandise inside. Pretty than bins and piles, for sure. Wishing you all good things for the show!
Also, Tracey at Notes From A Cottage Industry often has good ideas. You should see the dress form she decorated to advertise her Tumbleweed Cotillion!

Your work is so beautiful -- you will do well at the craft fair...I'm sure of it. Make sure you enjoy yourself..bring lots of change, bags and tissue for wrapping, bring water and a stool or something to sit on rather than standing all the time. And smile a lot -- people love to approach a stall/table/booth with someone who looks happy!!!!

Lovely things, Alisa! You'll have a great show, I'm sure. Where will the show be held and when? I'd love to drive up to see it and finally meet you.

It looks so pretty Alisa!!! I know you're gonna make it! One tip: don't forget to enjoy the craft show! Oh, and maybe a little practical tip: try to use depth on your table, so somethings higher, somethings lower. Just a little playful. Goodluck!!!!! Don't forget to take some pictures, so I can enjoy the show also a little! (why you're living so far away, sigh....????)

Good luck at your first craft show! My best advice is to use layers and levels, don't leave all your goods flat on the table.

Alisa, I've just been catching up. What a busy week you've had too. Tell me, who gets to keep the Candy Book? Is it a swap that goes to someone whose name is drawn from a hat?
Your journals are beautiful! And the Candy Book a treasure!
