The gift...
I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. It was completely inspired by Ranjini. She made her's from a used compact. Mine is just a mirror I had lying around. I can't wait to give this to the special someone that it was made for. I hope she likes it as much as I do.
The roses...
I finished these last night and listed them in my shoppe this morning. I have one more item that I am wanting to make for the Rose Garden Collection and then I will feel like the collection is complete.
The inspiration...
These picture came from the latest Restoration Hardware Home catalog. I love this store, but the catalogs almost always have all the same stuff in them. But every now and then I find something that is very inspiring. I am so into these colors right now. Seriously can't get enough of them! I really need to find time to sit down and create a collage with this palette.
Now this! When I found this in the mail yesterday, I lost it! E sat over there just shaking his head in that "good grief" sort of way. But really, it is so full of such WONDERFUL textiles and colors and textures. If there weren't 40 pages here I would scan all of them.
Hope you have a beautiful day.

i love the giftie you made with the mirror, it is a sweet little thing:) and i LOVE anthropologie too, there is actually one of their stores fairly close to me and for some reason i have never gone...i love to pour over the catalog...i do admit that i admired it more several years ago when their clothes were a bit more girly...
Oh that's just lovely! And your new shop items are so nice.
I love the giftie - it's really lovely! Anthropolgie...yum. That place really makes creative impact like no other! I usually go twice a year to the San Fransisco store. My hubby waits in one of the comfy chairs...ha!
