These are a few snippets from some pages in my art journal.
These were done months ago.
It's been that long since I've worked in it.
I've missed it terribly.
Last Friday I pulled it out.
I blew the dust off of it
and cracked it open.
I slowly looked through the previous pages.
I like to do that often when I'm working it in.
Then I pulled out some paint
and sighed a big sigh.

PS. The bread turned out great and so did the soup.
Despite what the "children" thought.
PSS. HELLO!! to all of my new visitors!

Hello :)
Lovely pages - thanks for sharing x
Oh how beautiful. I am so intimidated by the thought of an art journal. And yet every time I see your beauty it makes me itch to start one too. But alas mine wouldn't be in the same league not even close.
Gorgeous work Alisa!
Hope the rest of your week is fabulous!

So many questions. I must touch your journal. Is that blue flower painted on fabric? Lord have mercy, child...
Is this a remains of the day journal?
You are something.
great to see you crack the journal open again! I've missed mine these last few weeks and plan on cracking it open again asap. Love your writing, just beautiful!

It's funny...just this week I have seemed driven to start art journaling, and it seems that suddenly, everywhere I look, I see a beautiful and inspiring example. Yours is gorgeous! Your muse certainly didn't desert you there!
Amazing and beautiful!
I need to click on your 3 links more. I found this cracked open post and am drooling seriously. I love the writing, as someone still searching for a "writing" style, nice writing tugs at my heart.
