No, wait...
it's not July, it just feels like it outside.
In fact, it's August. The last day of August.
So here's the new post title...
Christmas on the last day of August, just mere hours away from September, though outside it feels like July.
Regardless of the heat,
I have a fun holiday tutorial in the latest issue of Somerset Holidays & Celebrations.
If you can look past the lengthy "materials and tools" list and despite the many steps
(with lots of drying time in between)
it is actually quite an easy project.
And the options for the little scenes on top are endless.
Like when I did these way back here.
If you decide to give it a try, let me know. I would love to see a picture of it.
*********
I want to thank you all.
I have felt the love and it greatly warmed my heart.
I hope I am able to return the favor if you ever find yourself in the center of a storm.
My love to you all.

Very cute and congratulations. I start haunting the newsstand today waiting for all the new issues to land so I'll be sure to check yours out!
Here's hoping the storms have passed you by but if they haven't, my best method for dealing with them is feet firmly planted, face the wind and lean into it. It's amazing how much feeling my own strength makes me feel better.
Best of luck with yours!
How beautiful and fun! And congratulations on being published. I just read to your previous posts and I hope that the storms you are facing will quite down and do no more harm then some ruffled hair.
Have a wonderful weekend!

ok after I picked up my jaw from the amazement of your beautiful art, I purchased the somerset magazine. What a huge treat it was, I am floored at your darling creations and can't wait to try myself! thank you for the step by step. I noticed that the "snow" in the square boxes (previous post) is different form the ones in the magazine? Am I mistaken? congrats on your well deserved recognition!
