It Smells Like Glue

Saturday was my birthday.

I did something I haven't done in several years.

I asked for a cake.
Specifically, I asked for this cake.
Plus the frosting.

So the Farmboy, being the most wonderful Farmboy in the world, set out to make it for me.

I was quite impressed seeing how he has made maybe a total of 5 cakes in his lifetime.
And none of them from scratch mind you.

When he got to the second half of making the frosting I hear him say,

"This just smells like glue."

Hmmm.... smells like glue.
Gives one pause, those words.
Wouldn't you agree?

Glue, however, was the farthest thing this cake (and frosting) tasted like.
I can now see, or taste, why this is her "go to" cake.
