Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and thank you for sending Christmas wishes my way.

To be quite honest Christmas was just not Christmas for me this year.
But despite the odd lack of Christmas Spirit leading up to it, it really was wonderful.
My BIL & SIL have been spending a lot of time at our house and it's been very nice.

And even though it holds a bit of anxiety for me, I'm ready for the new year to roll in.

This is one reason why.

I'm super excited to see the end result of this journal.
I've read through the thing 3 times already from cover to cover. And just reading some of the instructions have been difficult for my personality to think about doing.

I've already gone WAY out of my comfort zone with this one and licked a page with candy on my tongue. (Still gives me the willies just thinking about it... blech.)
I'm ready to take on the challenge though.

Oh and totally cool- the Farmboy and my niece have both voiced an interest in having their own Wreck This Journal too!
Awesome.

Sorry I missed wishing you a Happy Birthday! That cake looks delish so I bookmarked it for some time in the near future. Christmas was hard for me to get a grasp on this year too, but it turned out to be a wonderful day with my kids, DIL & my mom. I am trying to remember to quit sweating the small stuff cause it usually works out. We are all healthy & I hope the same for you & yours! Happy New Year in advance!!!

Alisa, I've seen these books. Hmmm...I'll have to take a closer look. I saw another one in a composition type cover where you're supposed to do a creative thing every day. Some of those sounded out of my league and/or comfort zone too. Instead...I think maybe I'll just reread Simple Abundance.

I have certainly smelled a lot of books and I have found many delicious, I have yet to lick one. I am quite sure your "wreck" will be a beautiful mess...

You will love doing the Journal. I gave my 30 year old son one last year for Christmas and I told him he had to give it back to me on my birthday...........I'M still waiting and I know he has done a lot in it. Then I did one for him and will give it to him for his birthday this year. Some of the things are a little creepy but I am going to do my best to do everything up until the gross ones. We will have to for go those. Anyway start now and you will be so glad you did go out of your comfort zone.
Happy New Year

I too have this journal....sitting around for sometime. I LOVE the concept....but yes...totally outside of my norm of "pretty". But yes...I am going to start it very soon!! I'm excited to hold a finished WRECKED journal in my hands! Not sure if I will actually "tape it closed and mail it to myself" LOL!

Wishing you a fabulous 2011!!

Mine sat around for quite some time before I did anything to it. Just something wrong about damaging a book you know?

LOVED playing in it. I think I've only gotten about half way through. I need to dig it out and finish it.
