But neither of us could think of anything made of bronze that we may have wanted to celebrate our anniversary with. So we went to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden to gaze upon bronze statuary instead.

Sorry for the long post, but just one last thing.
I have been thinking about Friday's Flowers and then had an inquiry about it, so I thought I would throw this out there.
If you are interested in joining me for Friday's Flowers and posting your own flower photo, then please leave a comment on this post with your blog link or email me with your link and I will add it to my Friday's Flowers post this week.
See you Friday!

Happy Anniversary Alisa...that looks like a gorgeous place to visit...thanks for sharing!!!
ALISA....Many HAPPY RETURNS for eight years of wedded bliss! Texas has so many beautiful PLACES....and PEOPLE...I have relatives in Houston. My favorite time to visit is in the spring when the BLUE BONNETS and other Texas wildflowers are in bloom. It's just spectacular. These botanic gardens in FW are really lovely. Thank you for sharing them with us. I will consider Friday Flowers as I love them, too. Happy Wednesday!

What a gorgeous place! Like the idea of Friday Flowers, I currently do Muffin Magic Friday but could also upload a photo of a flower (any excuse to photograph them :-) ).
Congratulations on your anniversary. I have never been to the Fort Worth gardens, but I think I need to. Looks beautiful.
Congratulations of 8 wonderful years, Alisa. What a beautiful way to spend your day! I might join you later for your Flower Fridays, when we have more flowers :)
Alisa, these images are absolutely breathtaking! You have captured a very peaceful, ethereal season at the gardens. I love the dichotomy between the Japanese Maple and the green. And the gnarly tree base and roots...I'm pretty sure gnomes or fairies live there. I would love to join you for Friday Flowers! Happy anniversary. ~ Angela
Happy Belated Anniversary! What a lovely place! I better look up what 12 years brings...
