Mums the Word

Texas Bella Mums, that is!

I'm back from Silver Bella and you are not even going to believe this... I took fewer pictures than I did last year! I know, I said I was going to take more! I don't know what happened. Quite honestly I thought I had only taken one... yep, you read that right... ONE PHOTO. But after I pulled my camera out of my bag, I realized I took just a few more than that. But my friend Nina took a lot, so I'm hoping she will email me some.

Okay, back to the mums. Heather Ales hosted a Mum Swap for all of us Texas Bellas, because mums are such a BIG thing here at Homecoming.

Fun, Fun, Fun!

This is the mum I created for Jana... bright vintage chic.

And this one...

I made for Nina. She got into SB late and missed out on the swap, so I thought this would be a good roomie gift for her.

Now, are you ready for this?! Here is the mum that Debe Leon created for me.

Oh my freaking word!!! It's AMAZING!!!

I love every inch of this mum... and there are a lot of inches here to love, I'm tellin' ya!

Look at the coffee! And the "Texas Ranger" badge... ACK! And it gets better...

Wow! Speechless! Thank you, again, Debe!!!

I have a whole lot more to share, but at this point, I'm not sure when I will be back to do so. But, as soon as I can, I will!

Have a beautiful week!

Wowee wow! That's definitely Texan ~ all of these are just beautiful. Did y'all wear these? Did other non-Texans "get it"? Looking forward to more Bella info! ~ Angela

I am glad you liked the mum! I had so much fun reading your history and discovering the you that you let all your followers get to know. I really wanted to get a vintage hankie on there but that might have caused you to fall over backwards!! It was a grand event..but, wow,am I tired!! Those Texas mums did make a visual impact!

This was my first Silver Bella and the Texas Mums were my first glimpse into what was to come. I was blown away by these. We Oklahoma gals know our way around a Homecoming mum and I really 'got' what you were up to. Great, fabulous, brilliant!

Alisa, so glad you are back and you had a great time at SB.

Your moms are beautiful, and so creative. The second one, is that made from coffee filters? It looks like you put tons of work into both of them, well done!!
