Too Busy

Sometimes amongst the pretty ribbons and sparkly glitter, accidents can happen.

Yep... and this is my back up pair. (because I already broke my regular ones)

I'm so, so busy this week, I can't go to the eye doctor. It has to wait until next week. The Farmboy couldn't fix them because of how they broke, so this is what it has come to.... scotch tape.

Pretty funny, huh?

Alisa, sorry about the reading glasses, I know how that can be, I need glasses too for doing everything from my crafts, to reading books, to cooking my meals. I would be lost without them, so out comes the tape when they get damaged. But, LOVED he images in your photo behind the broken glasses. How adorable are they! - Debby

I have glasses in every room! Either I am loosing them, breaking them or find them "attached" to the top of my head! Isn't scotch tape great?

Oh boy........I've done that and actually cracked the lens too. Went around with them for over a month!! I wear contacts most of the time, but was pregnant, on bedrest and not able to get them fixed. And to top it off they sat crooked on my face! YIKES!

Alisa,
I've got a pair of reading glasses in almost every room in the house, another pair in my purse, and two pairs at school. When I turned 45, my distance vision had remained the same but the reading distance has taken a nose dive. Big Daddy bought me many pairs of funky reading glasses with rhinestones, etc.....what a sweet boy! Hope you get your glasses situation fixed soon....it makes things tough when you can't see well.

Oh...by the way...I LOVE your new banner! Did you make it? I need a new one, but don't know how to go about doing it.

Enjoy the great weather in DFW today!

OMGoodness!!
I'm working with a pair that even the optomolagist couldn't get the same arm to replace the broken piece!
So on one side of my face I have one look and when I turn my head - an entirely different Nancy appears!
Wishing you the best for a new set of eyes.
:D

Owww.... that's not so nice! Well, hopefully you still can see things clear! Above 40 the chance of needing glasses is growing (at the end of the month I'll turn 42!) so we'll see! Have a very nice sunday!
