Moving On

I think I am officially over Halloween and quite ready to move on to Christmas. However, due to Silver Bella very quickly approaching, the Halloween decorations I have so been enjoying of late will have to remain right where they are displayed, to the dismay of my Farmboy, until my return from Omaha.

And speaking of Silver Bella, which I do a lot of at the moment, I have been in a complete frenzy trying to gather and make sure I have all that I need (not done with this part at all) and trying to finish up all of the swaps and other projects I have going on (coming close to finishing this list up).

Quite honestly, as excited as I have been about everything going on in my little world recently, there is a part of me that will be happy when I finally get some real down time. You know, maybe a day to do nothing other than sit and read a book or maybe even some time to actually be able to finish ALL of the laundry before it has piled up again. :)

So with my jump from Halloween straight to Christmas, I will be completely bypassing Thanksgiving. Which in itself is going to be a strange one anyway with all the kids at their other parent's and my parents way far off on their paradise island celebrating Thanksgiving on the beach next to the turquoise sea and my Farmboy having to be out of town for work. So I think jumping right on over to Christmas isn't such a bad idea anyway.

I would like to apologise for not being around much and visiting. I really miss reading every one's blog and seeing what you are up to. And if I haven't responded to the lovely comments you leave me, I'm sorry for that too! But soon, I hope, things will be back to normal. At least as normal as my life has ever been, which really isn't saying much! :)

Have a beautiful rest of the week!

Oh, have a wonderful time at Silver Bella (someday...for me...). I totally understand about the "down" holiday - that's how it was for us over here for Halloween. If you lived close by, you'd just have to come to my house and feast with us. :) Hey, if you have a second, leave a comment on my blog anytime, starting Friday and over the weekend so you can be a part of my first blog give-away! Have fun...busy hands are beautiful.:)

I especially love my days when I know I don't have to go anywhere at all. Can just roam about the house and garden with the pets and a cup of coffee and listen to the birds. Best days there are.

Are you ready? Bags packed and everything? :) Well, I did not meet my deadline. I'll have to send you a e-mail. Girl, I gotta get my tail in gear. I'll probably be packing things up until the very last minute. LOL Silver Bella, here we come! xoxo, Joanna
