First of all I would like to say Thank You for all of the sweet comments you left about my tea things. I wish I had more to show, but the Easter box is still in the attic and the light is still bad. In fact, we had a fast but fierce storm last night. With all of the hail we kind of thought Farmboy's new car would resemble a golf ball this morning. But luckily it still looks like a car.
Even though it is still gray (and now cold) I took some pictures of what the mailman brought me yesterday.
I'm so excited about this little kit. I'm going to make them just for me! I purchased it from Alicia Paulson. Last December I got the Santa Lucia kit for a crafty day with Little Bug. They turned out so cute!
She took them home where she could proudly display them for all of the world to see. But these will stay here, where I can proudly display them! I think they are so sweet.
I would like you to meet my newest little bluebird.
Isn't she just the prettiest color? I love this color so much... it reminds me of the sea.
There are a couple of challenges coming up. One is being hosted by Cerri and Analise. Analise had a button challenge last weekend, but I missed it... darn, I have lots of those. This one coming up is a vintage millinery challenge. I'm sorry to say that I won't get to participate in this one either. I really don't have much of a collection. I usually use it up as soon as I buy it. And as for hats, well, I haven't bought any of those. It's certainly not because I don't want to. I absolutely love them! I don't know that I could bring myself to take them apart to use and I'm afraid that I don't have much space at the moment to store or display them. One day soon though!
**EDITED** I've been thinking about it and I do have just a few bits. So I may go ahead and show what I have. I do so hate missing out on the fun!
The other challenge is being hosted by one of the sweetest bloggers I have met, Lori of Faerie Window. Show off your dollies! Won't be at that party either! No dollies. I have birdies, but no dolls. Too many of them kinda creep me out. I have found that I do like the little ones like Miss Sweetie. But honestly, those old cracked heads and body parts don't quite do it for me. Sock monkeys are like that too. Actually even more so. Horrible childhood memories of my sock monkey staring at me from across my grandparent's living room during a terrible thunderstorm. Yep, I'm now scarred for life! Anyway, back to Lori. She is also celebrating her 1 year blogiversary and is having a giveaway. Congratulations Lori!

Wow - I don't know how I missed it the last couple of days, but I just saw the swap sneeky peek that you gave me! I'm so excited! I've been hunting and gathering - now I'm sewing and gluing. :) I'll try to take a decent picture to give you a peek, too!
So much fun...
