I had intentions of spending the whole weekend playing in the studio,
but I ended up with only a few hours play.
But I made some useful time of it.
Remember all those journals I said were sitting open on my worktable?
Well I got to a couple of them.
The Spellbook
Although October is over and I had thought to put it away until next year,
it's still out.
I might keep it out until the end of November and hope a few more "spells" get added.
Journal No.10
Where gesso and white pen become a still life.
I'm enjoying the simplicity here.
Journal No.1
It got a start.
Maybe I'll get some evening time to finished it up this week.
Journal No.3
The Autumn Journal
Nothing... but I can see it so very clearly.
I need to get it down before it fades.
So, what did you do this weekend?
Looks like productive time to me! And I love that blue book in your previous post. I finally made myself sit down & do a post this weekend. All I've done is run around! I really miss blogging & all my blog friends! Hope you'll stop by for a visit! Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI loved the page with the Anais Nin verse. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the white ink and gesso page, and the Anais Nin quotation. Beautiful work you do, Alisa.
ReplyDeleteI didn't do as much as you, Alisa. And I intended to work in the studio all weekend too. Thanks for the peek. Your work is lovely.
ReplyDeleteWent to see Gravity. Mr Wonderful is a space and plane nut, so what better idea then to see some people vanish in space... And I started digging for my paint and copic markers. Your collection of books is to die for... I am (good) envyous when I look at your beautiful handwriting!
ReplyDeleteI was going to be oh, so productive and spend time in my studio. Instead I think I cooked...imagine that!
